We’re growing—and with thousands of talented members, we’re ready to launch a custom talent directory that showcases our freelancers, connects them with opportunities, and puts their skills front and center.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and creative Freelance Web Developer to build a custom, searchable, and user-friendly freelance talent directory. This directory be the go-to place for brands, agencies, and clients to discover and hire freelance women from our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Build a beautiful, branded, and responsive freelance talent directory from the ground up
Create user profiles with filters (e.g. industry, location, availability, rates, skills)
Enable secure member login, profile editing, and admin-level approval functionality
Integrate with our current site
Work with our team on wireframes, design ideas, and usability improvements
Ensure mobile optimisation and accessibility best practices
Provide documentation and training for our internal team to manage the directory after launch
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has strong experience in custom web development (bonus if you’ve built directories or marketplaces before)
Can recommend tools, platforms, or no-code/low-code solutions if custom development isn’t the best fit
Understands great UX/UI and can bring a clean, intuitive design to life
Has a collaborative approach and is open to feedback
Loves supporting women in business and aligns with our values
Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:
Working with membership-based platforms or communities
Creating directories or databases with filtering/search functionality
