Graphic Designer (Part-Time)

About the Role

The Taryn Newton brand is growing, and we’re seeking an experienced Part-Time Graphic Designer to bring greater consistency, sophistication, and creative leadership to all TN visual assets. This role is remote, highly creative, and ideal for a designer who understands branding and the visual language of fashion, lifestyle, and influencer-driven e-commerce.

We are looking for someone who can elevate our visual direction—not just execute templates. Our ideal candidate brings strong marketing instincts, a deep understanding of visual storytelling for women’s fashion and lifestyle, and the ability to translate a brand voice into cohesive, scroll-stopping graphics.

The designer will collaborate with Taryn and the internal brand team to produce graphics across all digital platforms, newsletters, collages, community events, and seasonal campaigns.

Hours: Part-time, flexible (estimated 10–20 hours per week to start)

Compensation: Competitive and experience-based.

Key Responsibilities

Social & Digital Graphics

  • Design on-brand graphics for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and stories.

  • Create weekly newsletter layouts aligned with TN brand fonts, color palette, and tone.

  • Build product collages for fashion, home, and lifestyle categories—must understand styling, cohesion, and visual hierarchy.

Brand Identity & Creative Direction

  • Maintain brand integrity across all deliverables using TN’s color palette, typography, imagery direction, and soft elevated aesthetic.

  • Develop new branded elements for seasonal initiatives, campaigns, and event-based content.

  • Support website updates with fresh visuals, banners, and landing-page graphics.

Affiliate & E-Commerce Design

  • Create LTK and Amazon collages that reflect mid-size fashion priorities, real-life style, and the TN brand pillars.

  • Produce clean, elegant styling boards for product drops, sales, and special launches.

Community & Event Graphics

  • Create graphics for community gifting initiatives, local events, and digital campaigns.

  • Deliver assets that evoke warmth, relatability, and “big-sister energy” consistent with the TN voice.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience (preferably in lifestyle, fashion, influencer marketing, or e-commerce).

  • Strong mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva Pro at an advanced custom-design level.

  • Demonstrated ability to follow and extend a brand guide—especially the TN palette, serif typography, soft imagery, and sophisticated minimalism.

  • Ability to ideate and execute designs that appeal to women seeking accessible, elevated style.

  • Experience creating collages and curated product layouts.

  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a fast-paced digital brand environment.

  • Strong understanding of visual trends in social media and influencer marketing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background or passion for fashion, mid-size style, or women’s lifestyle content.

  • Experience designing for newsletters (Klaviyo, Flodesk, Mailchimp, or similar).

  • Understanding of SEO-friendly and Pinterest-optimized creative.

  • Experience working with influencer teams or personal brands.

What Success Looks Like

  • Cohesive, elevated visuals across social, web, and newsletter channels.

  • Faster turnaround time with consistent brand application.

  • High-performing graphic assets that support affiliate revenue and audience engagement.

  • Visual improvements that align with the TN brand pillars of relatability, everyday elegance, and “real-life style for real bodies”.
