Grant Writer (Contract)
Position Description:
TWW is recruiting part-time contractual grant writers to support our nonprofit clients. Candidates must have professional grant writing experience and be open to working on projects that support a variety of missions and causes. Compensation is outcomes based. The specific compensation rate is based on experience, location, and industry certifications. The Grant Writer is a remote, 1099 independent contractor role.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of past experience successfully navigating the grant application process for nonprofits, including successfully researching, writing, and submitting grants to a variety of funders, including private foundations, community foundations, and government agencies.
An effective communicator with excellent writing and editing skills.
Extraordinary attention to detail and organization.
Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.
Comfortability contacting foundations and grant managers to discuss their processes and assess if a client’s proposed activities are a good fit for the funder’s goals and interests.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Experience managing the grant writing process from start to finish is preferred.
Degree in Communications, Non-Profit Management, Social Work or a related field; professional degree preferred.
Remote work experience is preferred but not required.
Our grant writers work 100% remotely and control their own schedule. You will be responsible for producing all agreed upon written deliverables (LOI, grant proposal, reports, and concept papers) by agreed upon deadlines.

Full version of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (2013 or higher)
High-speed internet connectivity
