Global G.L.O.W./Global Girls Glow is a 501(c)(3) organization that mentors girls around the world to be powerful advocates and confident leaders. We fuel mentor-facilitated GLOW Clubs in 30 countries. Since inception, our GLOW Clubs have ignited the power of over 91,000 girls to do three transformative things: increase their confidence, strengthen their voice, and build their power. We sharpen girls’ advocacy skills by supporting specialty summits, sponsoring girl-led community advocacy projects, and engaging in U.N. advocacy, reaching 2 million people annually. Our outcomes evaluations demonstrate that girls experience growth in confidence and a more positive future outlook, along with measurable progress in their own lives and in their communities.



About The Role Reporting virtually to the Vice President of Engagement & Communications, the Donor Research Coordinator will support Development Team efforts by providing thorough research on existing and prospective donors. The Coordinator will play a critical role in the development of a major gift pipeline, a necessary piece of the fundraising strategic plan for 2026 and beyond. Exceptionally organized and proactive, this individual anticipates needs and meets deadlines. They maintain the highest standards of accuracy and care, ensuring that every database entry and research profile reflects professionalism and attention to detail. They approach their work strategically, identifying connections between event attendees, donors and partners, and using data-driven insights to strengthen engagement and philanthropic growth.



Role Responsibilities

  • Provide research assistance as needed to Engagement Directors to set them up to secure high-volume donations from individual donors, foundations, and corporations.

  • Conduct proactive and reactive prospect research on individuals, companies and foundations (capacity, affinity, and linkage) and organize information in salesforce.

  • Research donors and event attendees in advance of events/meetings to identify propensity and mission fit, creating Look Books to be used by Development Staff.

  • Partner with the Communications team to report on open rates and other metrics from weekly newsletters event communications, and fundraising campaigns.

  • Review current lists of donors and prospects, identifying those who have high propensity to give for increased giving, major gifts, in-kind donations, event sponsorships, corporate gifts and other charitable giving.

  • Monitor wealth/event/news triggers; update ratings, next steps, and portfolio assignments in the Salesforce CRM in partnership with fundraisers.

  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions for events and meetings, based on information gathered of prospects/attendees.

  • Participate in early morning and/or evening meetings and events, as required.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree as well as 2-3 years of experience of research on high net worth donors/funders or donor prospect research.

  • Nonprofit experience strongly preferred.

  • Must be able to endorse and communicate the mission of Global G.L.O.W.

  • Familiarity with publicly available prospect research methods, tools, and ethical standards; comfort synthesizing public data into clear, actionable profiles.

  • Experience with nonprofit CRM systems e.g., Salesforce and Funraise, including reporting and basic list building.

  • Excellent communication skills in one-on-one, small-group, and large-group settings.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.

  • Requires consistent attention to detail, flexibility, a high level of productivity, and a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and projects at a time.

  • Possess a collaborative work style and strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, board members, volunteers, and donors in a manner that shows professionalism and an understanding of the mission of GLOW.

The Pay Range For This Role Is 22 - 26 USD per hour(Remote (United States))
