About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Creative Director to join our growing digital marketing agency. This pivotal role will be instrumental at the outset of our client partnerships, ensuring a strong and cohesive brand foundation for all marketing efforts. You will be responsible for defining and documenting our clients' visual and verbal brand identities, creating essential marketing templates, and overseeing the overall creative direction to ensure consistency and impact across all channels. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of comprehensive brand guidelines and brand books for new clients, defining visual identity (logos, color palettes, typography, imagery style) and brand voice.
Translate client brand identities into a suite of essential marketing templates for social media graphics, email newsletters, webinar presentations, and website elements.
Collaborate closely with our team to understand their brand essence, target audience, and marketing objectives, ensuring the creative output aligns with their vision.
Conduct brand audits to assess existing client branding and identify opportunities for enhancement and alignment with marketing goals.
Work cross-functionally with the marketing team (content creators, social media managers, email specialists) to ensure seamless execution of brand vision on an as needed basis.
Stay informed about current design trends, branding best practices, and digital marketing aesthetics.
Must-Have Skills
Proven experience as a Creative Director, Art Director, or Senior Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing brand development and digital marketing creative.
Expertise in developing comprehensive brand books and style guides.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design tools (e.g., Figma, Canva Pro for advanced use).
**Our team uses Canva Pro primarily so all work needs to be compatible at some point with our ability to use these designs on an ongoing basis
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Demonstrable experience creating templates for digital marketing assets (social media posts, email headers, web banners, presentation slides).
Excellent ability to articulate and present creative concepts and rationale to clients and internal teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and a remote team.
Nice to Have Skills
Familiarity with web design principles and UX/UI best practices.
Experience in the health, wellness, or integrative medicine space.
Understanding of how creative assets perform across different digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
Hours & Pay
This is a part-time, hourly role with flexible scheduling
Estimated about or less than 5 hours per week to start, with room to grow.
Range is $50-60 an hour depending on experience
