Content & Social Media Manager (Part-Time)

About CleopatraRX

Brain fog during menopause is not stress. It is not aging. It is not "just being busy." It is hormonal and it is treatable.

CleopatraRX was built around PearlPAK®, the first brain-first estriol-based hormone therapy developed by Dr. Rhonda Voskuhl, Professor of Neurology at UCLA, after 30 years of NIH-funded research.

We are an early-stage company growing a patient base of women who finally have language for what's been happening to their brains. We're very small, but intentional, and moving fast. Every person on this team does real work that matters. We would love to have you on the team.

The Role

We need someone who can own our content and marketing presence and talk to our customers to build a strong relationship.

You'll sit at the intersection of science, storytelling, and strategy — translating complex neuroscience into content that makes women feel seen and understood, without dumbing it down or wrapping it in wellness-speak.

What You'll Own

Content production (primary responsibility)

  • Instagram carousels and reels built around Dr. Voskuhl's research, patient stories, and clinical education

  • Creating newsletters and nurture sequences to grow our patient base and establish strong relationships

  • Blog and SEO content on menopause, cognitive health, and hormonal science

  • LinkedIn — for the brand and for Dr. Voskuhl's professional presence

  • Marketing one-pagers, patient-facing guides, and prescriber outreach assets

  • Understanding what is happening in the market so we are staying relevant

Brand and channel management

  • Maintain and evolve our content calendar

  • Manage scheduling, analytics, and community responses on Instagram

  • Track what converts (saves, quiz completions, consultation bookings) and adjust

Asset creation

  • Canva-based visual assets for social and email

  • Short-form video scripting for reels (we record Rhonda in batches; you turn sessions into 6 months of content)

  • Collaborate with our PR contact on media moments and placements

What we do not want

  • Someone without initiative, we do not have the capacity to micromanage

  • Writing copy that sounds like every other women's health brand or that is AI generated

  • Producing content that uses the words "empower," "thrive," or "hormone harmony"

Who You Are

The non-negotiables:

  • You understand women's health — either professionally, personally, or both. You don't need to be a clinician, but you need to get why this matters.

  • You can write with storytelling and thought behind it.

  • You've built and managed content calendars. You know what "owned channel" means and how to make it work.

  • You are organized enough to track three channels, a production calendar, and a backlog — without someone chasing you.

Strong signals we'd love to see:

  • Background in health, science, or women's wellness content

  • Experience with femtech, digital health, or clinical brands

  • Comfort with Canva, video editing, Claude

  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals

  • You've written newsletters or email sequences before

The human element:

We're a small team. We are looking for someone who genuinely believes in what this company is doing — not because the culture deck said to, but because you've felt the dismissal. Because you've watched a woman you love lose herself to a symptom that had a name and a treatment all along.

We prefer women for this role, specifically because the voice we're building requires someone who inhabits it, not just writes for it.

Compensation & Structure

  • Starting as a part-time contractor (20–25 hours/week) with a path to full-time as the company grows

  • Competitive hourly or project rate commensurate with experience

  • Remote — flexible schedule, with availability for weekly syncs and batch content sessions with Dr. Voskuhl

To Apply

Send us:

  1. Two or three samples of content you've written or produced — preferably in health, science, or women's interest

  2. A brief note (not a cover letter — just a note) about why this role and why now

  3. Your LinkedIn or portfolio

Send to: Manasa Murthy at m.murthy@cleopatrarx.com

No recruiters or agencies.  We'll respond to everyone who sends us real work.

CleopatraRX is an equal opportunity employer. We especially encourage applications from women, women of color, and women with lived experience of menopause or hormonal health.
