Adoption & Surrogacy Support Specialist (Part-Time)

🌟 Adoption & Surrogacy Coordinator β€” Help Families Find Their Way Home 🌟
$50/hr | Part-Time | Remote-Flexible | Mission-Driven Team

Are you someone who has walked this road yourself? Whether you've adopted, been adopted, carried a child as a surrogate, or spent your career walking alongside families in these journeys β€” we want you on our team.

We're looking for a passionate, experienced Adoption & Surrogacy Coordinator to guide hopeful parents, surrogates, and birth families through one of the most profound experiences of their lives. This is more than a job. It's a calling.

πŸ’™ About OneVillage

OneVillage is redefining what it means to deliver care across the health journey. We're a fast-growing healthcare technology company revolutionizing supportive care β€” the emotional, practical, and logistical support that surrounds medical treatment to improve outcomes and quality of life.

Our platform connects patients, caregivers, and employees with expert coaches, insurance navigators, and medical concierges across 35+ specialties β€” from mental health and financial wellness to chronic condition management and family care. We partner with employers, health systems, benefit consultants, and advocacy organizations like the American Heart Association to make these services scalable and accessible for everyone. Powered by our mission to close the care gaps traditional healthcare leaves behind, we've achieved a 96% client renewal rate and 95 NPS.

Now we're expanding our platform into one of the most life-changing journeys a family can take: adoption and surrogacy. And we need someone extraordinary to lead the way.

🏠 About the Role

As our Adoption & Surrogacy Coordinator, you'll be the steady hand and warm heart that families lean on when the process feels overwhelming. From the first inquiry call to the moment a child comes home β€” or a family receives the news they've been waiting for β€” you'll be there every step of the way.

You'll manage cases with precision, advocate fiercely for the families you serve, and bring real, lived empathy to every interaction. This role sits at the intersection of case management, education, emotional support, and logistics β€” and no two days will ever look the same.

✨ What You'll Do

  • Guide families through the adoption and/or surrogacy process from intake to completion, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted resource

  • Coordinate with attorneys, agencies, fertility clinics, and social workers to keep cases moving forward efficiently and compassionately

  • Educate and prepare prospective parents, surrogates, and birth families on legal requirements, timelines, emotional expectations, and next steps

  • Facilitate matching between adoptive families and birth parents, or intended parents and surrogates, with sensitivity and care

  • Maintain detailed case files and ensure compliance with state, federal, and (when applicable) international regulations

  • Provide emotional support and referrals during difficult moments β€” because these journeys rarely go in a straight line

  • Build and nurture relationships with partner agencies, legal professionals, medical teams, and community organizations

  • Contribute to the OneVillage platform by helping shape the tools, resources, and navigation experience we offer families on this journey

  • Advocate, always β€” for children, for families, for the integrity of the process

πŸ’› Who You Are

  • You have direct experience in adoption or surrogacy β€” as a professional, a parent, a surrogate, or someone who was adopted. You don't just understand this world intellectually; you've lived it.

  • You bring 3+ years of experience in a related role β€” case management, social work, reproductive health coordination, family law support, or similar

  • You hold (or are working toward) a degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field β€” or you have equivalent lived and professional experience

  • You're an exceptional communicator who can hold space for joy, grief, fear, and hope β€” sometimes all in the same conversation

  • You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and never let a deadline or a family fall through the cracks

  • You understand the legal and ethical landscape of both domestic adoption and gestational surrogacy (international adoption experience is a plus)

  • You believe every child deserves a family, and every family deserves a champion

πŸ’° Compensation

  • $50/hour | Part-Time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as OneVillage expands.

  • Remote-flexible work environment

  • The opportunity to build something meaningful at a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare technology company

🌈 Why This Role?

Because the work matters. Every email you send, every call you take, every piece of paperwork you navigate β€” it leads to a family being made. You'll witness some of the most beautiful, hard-fought moments of people's lives, and you'll know you helped get them there.

At OneVillage, we lead with heart, operate with integrity, and show up fully for the people we serve β€” clients and teammates alike. You'll be joining a team that is actively reimagining what support looks like for people navigating the hardest and most joyful chapters of their lives. We close the gaps traditional systems leave behind β€” and this role is a big part of how we do that.

This is your chance to do the most meaningful work of your career. We'd love to meet you.
