Position Summary
We’re seeking a Resume Coach who specializes in helping mid-to-senior level tech professionals craft resumes and portfolios that stand out in today’s competitive market. You’ll combine knowledge of hiring practices with design and storytelling skills to ensure clients present their value clearly and persuasively.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver 1:1 coaching to refine resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles
Translate client experiences into strong accomplishment-based bullet points
Optimize documents for applicant tracking systems (ATS) while maintaining readability
Guide clients in positioning themselves for target roles through storytelling and framing
Collaborate with clients to align materials with their career goals and personal brand
Provide constructive, actionable feedback that builds clarity and confidence
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of recruiting, career coaching, or HR experience with resume evaluation expertise
Deep understanding of ATS systems, resume formats, and hiring manager preferences
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
Ability to coach clients on both content (what to say) and positioning (how to say it)
Passion for career branding and professional storytelling
