Remote Accounting Controller/Tax Planner (Part-Time)

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Compensation: $40,000 - $80,000 a year

Bloggers, Content Creators, and Social Media Influencers). We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounting Controller / Tax Planner to join our team on a remote, part-time or full-time basis.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Controller / Tax Planner, you will be responsible for managing the financial records of multiple clients in various creative industries. Your primary focus will be consulting with clients, managing accurate and up-to-date financial data using QuickBooks Online and Gusto Payroll, and advising on tax strategies. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing periodic audits of client financials to ensure proper categorizations.

• Providing clients with tax strategies to maximize financial opportunities and minimize tax liabilities.

• Preparing year end tax returns inside Intuit ProConnect.

• Providing exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

• Adhering to accounting best practices and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Proven accounting experience.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (preferred) and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data entry.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks concurrently.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
