Mentorship Opportunity with Repurpose / The RENEW Program (Volunteer)
Support the next generation of sustainable fashion leaders
Repurpose is seeking passionate, purpose-driven volunteers to mentor young creatives (ages 16–24) through our RENEW Program, a transformative job readiness and personal development experience that prepares participants for careers in fashion, marketing, and other creative industries.
We are specifically looking for volunteers to mentor and guide Social Media & Marketing Assistants. These are bright, motivated trainees who are using storytelling and content creation to amplify our mission and gain real-world experience in the process.
What Volunteers Will Do:
Commit to at least one check-in per week for the duration of their 15 week cohort (~60 minutes, virtual or in-person) with your assigned mentee or cohort, in addition to ad-hoc feedback on projects.
Provide encouragement, perspective, and accountability throughout the program
Share insights and career guidance related to marketing, branding, social media, or creative fields
Support confidence and skill-building in young professionals exploring the intersection of sustainability, storytelling, and style
Celebrate their growth and help shape their professional development journey
This is a great fit for anyone with experience in:
Marketing, branding, or digital storytelling
Social Media and Digital strategy (Instagram, LinkedIn, Substack)
Fashion, retail, or sustainable business
Creative leadership or mentoring young talent
About the Trainee Role:
Social Media & Marketing Assistant (Trainee)
Trainees create content, support campaigns, and help grow the Repurpose brand - all while building a portfolio, receiving hands-on training, and connecting with mentors like you. The program offers a meaningful opportunity to uplift emerging voices and activate your skills for impact.
