Mental Health Coach (Part-Time)

Role Overview
Vitable Health is looking for a passionate and skilled Per Diem Mental Health Coach to provide flexible, one-on-one coaching and support to our members via our digital platform. This is a non-clinical role focused on skill-building and goal-setting with an expected commitment of 7-10 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with members to provide non-clinical mental health coaching and support
Collaborate with members to identify personal goals related to mental wellness, such as improving coping skills, managing stress, or enhancing self-care practices
Teach and reinforce practical, evidence-based skills for managing mental health challenges, such as mindfulness exercises, positive reframing, and communication techniques
Collaborate closely with providers and support staff to ensure seamless, coordinated care
Accurately document sessions and interactions in electronic health records
Stay aligned with Vitable Health's policies and complete all required training
Candidate Requirements
3+ Years providing mental health support
Experience providing coaching services virtually
Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, particularly those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds
Strong understanding of evidence-based mental health coaching techniques (e.g., motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused coaching)
Deep empathy and cultural humility, with a non-judgmental approach
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related human services field.
Certification or specialized training in mental health coaching, peer support, or a related field.
Experience working in a startup or high-growth company
Ideal candidate will be interested in scaling their hours as our company grows
