Manager, Partnerships & Stakeholder Relations (Part-Time)


About the Job

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven Manager for Partnerships and Stakeholder Relations to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role that will drive our strategic growth by identifying, nurturing, and growing relationships with key partners and customers from private, civic and public sector organisations. You’ll be instrumental in raising our profile, expanding our network, and creating mutually beneficial collaborations that enhance our service offerings and market reach across Europe and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Strategy & Development (30%):

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with our business goals and growth objectives.

  • Identify and research potential partners (e.g., technology providers, data providers, software vendors, industry associations, research institutions, governmental bodies) whose offerings complement our training and consulting services.

  • Initiate, negotiate, and close partnership agreements, ensuring clear terms, mutual benefits, and long-term value.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and foster new connections.

  • Provide regular reports on partnership performance, pipeline, and strategic insights to senior management.

  • Track and analyse the ROI of partnership initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & User Requirements Analysis (60%):

  • Lead stakeholder engagement activities to understand needs, challenges, and strategic objectives across various internal and external groups.

  • Lead user requirements analysis, translating stakeholder input into actionable insights for our training and consulting teams.

  • Organise co-design events and user workshops to collaboratively define solutions and gather detailed requirements.

  • Facilitate discussions and ensure alignment across all parties involved.

Technical Writing & Documentation (10%):

  • Lead the technical writing of project reports, policy briefs, and related documents, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to relevant standards.

  • Synthesise complex technical information into accessible and compelling written materials for diverse audiences.

Here’s what we are looking for:

Experience:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a B2B business development, partnerships, alliance management, or sales role, preferably within the technology, education, or consulting sectors.

  • Demonstrable experience and deep understanding of the following contexts: carbon accounting, climate, economic benefits and applications of Earth Observation as well as geospatial data and technology ecosystem.

  • Strong track record in leading stakeholder engagement, user requirements analysis, and organizing co-design events/workshops.

  • Proven ability in technical writing, including project reports and policy briefs.

  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms or product development processes is a plus.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of identifying and executing on growth opportunities.

  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.

  • Superior technical writing and documentation skills, with high attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

  • Proven time and project management skills and excellent problem-solving mindset

  • Comfortable in a remote environment

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Google Workspace

Language:

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential. Additional European languages are a plus.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Environmental Science, Geography, Geoinformatics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent number of years of experience.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Competitive salary package (50,000 to 70,000 Euros before taxes, full-time equivalent)

  • 60-80 percent part-time role (24 to 32 hours per week)
