Legal Recruiting Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Marina Sirras & Associates, LLC is a boutique legal recruiting firm founded in 1987. For over 35 years, we have specialized in placing attorneys and legal professionals at leading law firms and in-house legal departments across New York, Long Island, Atlanta, and major U.S. markets. We are known for our deep industry relationships, personalized approach, and long-standing reputation in the legal recruiting community.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team of recruiters. This position is ideal for someone who understands the legal services environment and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven setting.
Please note: At this time, we are only considering candidates with prior legal recruiting or law firm experience.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Recruiting Support
Maintain and update the firm’s jobs database and website
Format, proofread, and finalize candidate resumes and related documents
Provide administrative support across active searches and recruiting workflows
Track submissions, follow-ups, and recruiter activity
Assist with calendar coordination and light scheduling as needed
Technology & Platform Support
Coordinate with IT regarding system updates, troubleshooting, and training
Assist with optimizing and managing LinkedIn job postings
Support maintenance of internal tools, templates, and shared resources
Client, Candidate & Internal Coordination
Communicate with clients and candidates regarding confidential job openings
Assist with scheduling internal meetings, training sessions, and occasional team events
Help maintain recruiting agreements, compliance files, and organized records
Special Projects & As-Needed Tasks
Support onboarding/offboarding processes and internal documentation
Assist with research, market mapping, and other special recruiting projects
Provide support to the founder or executive team on designated initiatives
Qualifications
Prior legal recruiting or law firm experience is required
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail, particularly in editing and formatting documents
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems (CRMs, databases, etc.)
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting
Interest in legal recruiting or the legal profession is a plus
Position Details
Part-time: approximately 20–30 hours per week
Fully remote with flexible scheduling
Hourly compensation: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
