Interior Design & Data Production Assistant (Part-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Interior Design & Data Production Assistant to support our design department in a fast-growing tech startup. This role is primarily focused on data entry and production work related to creating and furnishing virtual apartments using our internal design tools, managing data in our CMS, and collaborating closely with our CG artists.

The ideal candidate is technically minded, highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working at the intersection of data, tools, and visual production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and consistent data entry and maintenance using tools such as Airtable and our proprietary CMS

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal standards

  • Identify inconsistencies or issues and communicate them to the design team

  • Furnish virtual units according to predefined specifications and design guidelines

  • Perform QA of virtual apartments and communicate feedback to technical teams

Cross-Team Communication

  • Communicate regularly with CG artists to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate updates

  • Translate technical or design-related feedback into actionable updates

  • Assist in documenting processes and communicating changes across teams

General Design Department Support

  • Assist with partner, vendor, and internal task coordination

  • Conduct research as needed to support design and production workflows

  • Support creative and strategic initiatives, with opportunities to contribute ideas and learn new skills

Qualifications

  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience working with digital tools, interfaces, spreadsheets, and structured data

  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and creative teams (including CG artists)

  • Basic understanding of design, layouts, or spatial concepts

  • Comfortable following detailed processes and specifications

  • Able to work independently and manage repetitive, detail-oriented tasks

  • Candidate must be on East Coast or able to work on eastern time zone (US)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in or passion for interior design

  • Experience with Airtable or similar data and content management systems

  • Experience collaborating with CG, 3D, or technical art teams

  • Startup or production environment experience
