Job Description
The Human Resource Specialist reports to the COO & CEO as a single point of contact for all employees. The HRS is responsible for maintaining awareness of and engagement with new and existing employees.
Recruiting.
Recruiting and qualifying candidates for open positions.
Standardizes Job Descriptions and Posts Position Openings
Uses Recruiter Lite Search for Target Qualifications
Reviews Candidates in Pipeline for Minimum Qualifications
Sets up Preliminary Interviews with Qualified Candidates
Sets up 2nd Round Interviews with Respective Team(s)
Discusses feedback with team and executives
Develops, standardizes, and sends offers
Fields candidate offer questions
Receives and files signed employment agreements
On-boarding.
Resource setup post-employment agreement.
Notifies Payroll of New Employee, Location
On-boards Employee to Health Insurance
Ensures Employee Access to Employee Policies
Sets up Employee in Google Workspace
Administers Third Party Software Access
Adds Employee to Appropriate Workspace Chats
Adds Employee to Appropriate Calendar Recurring Events
Organizes Employee Office Resources
Ensures Employees Sign Equipment Release Form
Receives and Approve PTO Requests
Administers Benefits (401k) Program for Opt-in Employees
On-going. Regular tasks at quarterly or annual intervals.
Maintains and Tracks Location of Company Owned Equipment
Maintains Employee Professional Development Goals
Maintains Awareness of Employee Immigration Status and Deadlines
Administers and Approve Immigration Forms and Applications
Approves Professional Development Expenses
Maintains Employee Performance Reviews
Maintains Confidential Personnel Files
Maintains Annual Company/Culture Survey
Sets-up Remote-Work Connection Events
Organizes Annual Company Retreat
Captures and Approves Reimbursements
Off-boarding. In the event of termination or departure.
Maintains Employee File with Term or Departure Notice
Coordinates with Supervisor for Plan of Action
Removes Access to Workspace and Software
Ensures Employee Returns Company Equipment
Migrates Employee Work Files with Supervisor
Qualifications
5+ Years in Human Resources Manager Role
Familiar Working in Remote Environment
Experience Developing Standard Operating Procedures
