Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Early Childhood Education to support the design and development of engaging, developmentally appropriate digital learning content for young learners. The SME will collaborate closely with instructional designers and curriculum developers to create structured e-learning programs that align with early childhood education standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop age-appropriate learning objectives, lesson plans, and activities for early childhood education (ages 3–8).

  • Provide subject expertise in early childhood pedagogy, milestones, and learning theories.

  • Ensure curriculum aligns with educational frameworks such as NAEYC, Common Core (as applicable), or local/state standards.

  • Review and validate instructional content to ensure accuracy, developmental suitability, and cultural relevance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including instructional designers, animators, and content writers to develop interactive e-learning modules.

  • Offer feedback on learning assessments, interactive activities, and digital media elements.

  • Stay updated on trends and best practices in early childhood education and digital learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood teaching or curriculum development.

  • Prior experience creating or reviewing digital content or e-learning modules is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of early learning pedagogy, standards, and cognitive development principles.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with e-learning tools (Articulate, Rise, Moodle, etc.)

  • Understanding of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive content creation.

  • Ability to simplify complex educational concepts for digital formats.
