We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Social & Digital Media Manager to support both our internal channels and selected client accounts.
Position Overview
This is a fixed-term, part-time contract running January 15 – August 31, 2026 at 24 hours per week. You will report directly to the Creative Director. The ideal candidate is an adaptable communicator with excellent writing skills, hands-on social media experience, and comfort working in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Manage content calendars for Block by Block Creative and selected clients.
Draft and publish high-quality social copy/captions.
Post and schedule content on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.
Coordinate with the Creative Director and clients for approvals and deadlines.
Monitor audience engagement and respond/flag as needed.
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance metrics.
Prepare timely and campaign-specific reports with insights and recommendations.
Digital & Web Tasks
Update website content using Wix and Squarespace.
Assist with newsletter content and other digital communications tasks.
Create simple graphics and social creative using Canva.
Maintain social content database using AirTable.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing professional social media accounts.
Strong writing and editing skills in English.
Experience using Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube professionally.
Comfort with Google Sheets.
Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines.
Verified or willing to become verified on Meta and other social media platforms.
Based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred
Experience with Airtable and Canva or willingness to learn.
Experience with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations.
Knowledge of social analytics tools.
Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French.
Hours & Compensation
24 hours per week
Fixed term: January 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026
Hourly rate: $30/hr
