Clinical Product Manager (Part-Time)

About the Role

Honey Health is seeking a Clinical Product Manager with deep hands-on clinical experience and a track record of building and optimizing operational workflows within healthcare settings. This role is ideal for an experienced Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner (or similar advanced nursing role), DO or MD, who has spent years managing clinical and administrative workflows, including medication, diagnostic, and procedural and surgery prior authorizations, working across major EHRs, and improving clinical processes at hospitals, health systems, or large clinical practices.

You will play a central role in defining, structuring, and operationalizing core back-office and clinical workflows—including medication prior authorizations, diagnostic/procedural prior authorizations, and specialist referrals (and much more). Working closely with the CEO and Head of AI Operations, you will translate clinical processes into detailed workflow specifications and product requirements that guide engineering and AI development.

This is a part-time contract role (approximately 6 months) with a high likelihood of converting to full-time based on performance and business needs.

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements based on real-world clinical experience.

  • Work across major EHR systems to assess requirements, workflows, and integration points.

  • Support early product testing and provide clinical validation feedback.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or similar advanced clinical nursing role.

  • Strong capability in workflow design, process documentation, and product spec creation.

  • Ability to translate clinical workflows into structured components that can be operationalized or built into software tools.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with engineering and product teams.
